Promo instructions
Choose your platform below, then follow the steps to redeem your promo code with the account you want connected to the app.
Use your App Store promo code
If you received a promo code for one of our iPhone or iPad apps, redeem it in the App Store and the app will be added to the Apple Account you are currently signed in with.
Redeem your code
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your profile photo or the sign-in button at the top of the screen.
- Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.
- If prompted, sign in with the Apple Account you want to use for the app.
- Tap Enter Code Manually and type in the promo code you received.
- Tap Redeem.
- Once the code is accepted, download the app from the App Store if it does not begin installing automatically.
Use your Mac promo code
If you received a promo code for one of our Mac apps, redeem it in the Mac App Store. The app will be attached to the Apple Account that is signed in on your Mac.
Redeem your code
- Open the App Store on your Mac.
- Click your name in the lower-left corner, or click Sign In if you are not already signed in.
- Click Redeem Gift Card.
- Enter your promo code manually, then click Redeem.
- If prompted, sign in again with the Apple Account you want associated with the app.
- After redemption, download or open the app from your account’s purchased items.
Use your Google Play promo code
If you received a promo code for one of our Android apps, redeem it in Google Play with the Google Account you want to use for the app or subscription.
Redeem your code in Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone or tablet.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Redeem code.
- Enter your promo code and tap Redeem.
- Review the Google Account that will receive the redemption, then confirm.
- Download or open the app from Google Play and complete any remaining in-app steps if prompted.
