How to use your Mac promo code

If you received a promo code for one of our Mac apps, redeem it in the Mac App Store. The app will be attached to the Apple Account that is signed in on your Mac.

Redeem your code

  1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
  2. Click your name in the lower-left corner, or click Sign In if you are not already signed in.
  3. Click Redeem Gift Card.
  4. Enter your promo code manually, then click Redeem.
  5. If prompted, sign in again with the Apple Account you want associated with the app.
  6. After redemption, download or open the app from your account’s purchased items.
